Our Story

Stephanie and Brandon met through the dating app OkCupid in 2019 while both were living in Chicago. At the time, Stephanie was pursuing her degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Brandon was working his first career job out of college at Luxury Garage Sale. Their first date was at the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights festival.

After a year of dating and the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Brandon and Stephanie embarked on a new adventure — moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. They spent two years there and also welcomed their furry child, Nyx!

Another two years later a new opportunity took them even farther west to the great state of California. They packed up their things and moved to Los Angeles, where they have been living ever since.

In January 2024, they took their first international trip together to Japan. During their visit to Tokyo Disneyland, Brandon proposed to Stephanie in front of the castle. (See the proposal video below!)

Brandon and Stephanie share many common interests such as video games, the outdoors, eating good food, medieval fantasy, travel, spoiling Nyx, and Disney of course!
